Programme Overview
The Bachelor of Computing Systems (BCS) is a three-year full-time undergraduate degree programme providing a proven pathway into an IT career across a wide range of technology-based roles from software and web development, through network infrastructure and cloud computing, to industrial automation, machine learning, and IT management. The programme is accredited by IT Professionals New Zealand (IITP), making it one of only six degrees nationwide to hold this independent industry endorsement.

Entry Requirements
Academic: University Entrance (NCEA Level 3), or NZ Certificate in Information Technology Essentials (Level 4), or equivalent qualification. Mature and provisional entry considered with evidence of ability to succeed. Mathematics, Algebra, and computer literacy are highly recommended.
English: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band score lower than 5.5. PTE Academic score of 50 with no communicative skill below 42 also accepted.
Performance: Satisfactory academic progress required to proceed to each subsequent year. Credit recognition available via Cross Credit (CC) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for prior study or relevant work experience.
