Study Pathways
ICA offers Certificate and Diploma programmes in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Level 6 & 7), along with IT and English Language programmes. ICA's engineering pathway programmes prepare students for employment in New Zealand's engineering sector and for entry into bachelor's-level engineering degrees at partner New Zealand universities.
English Language Programmes
ICA's New Zealand Certificate in English Language and Migrant English programmes serve students seeking to improve their English proficiency before entering technical or business programmes.
IT Programmes
Information Technology and Information Systems diplomas cover networking, software development, database administration, and digital systems management.
Admission Requirements
Certificate entry requires secondary school completion. Diploma and degree-level entry requires NCEA Level 2–3 or international equivalent. Engineering diplomas may require prior study in relevant science and mathematics subjects.
English Language Requirements
IELTS 5.5 for certificate level (no band below 5.0); IELTS 6.0 for diploma-level programmes (no band below 5.5).
