Programme Overview
This programme prepares you to nurture and care for women through pregnancy, childbirth, and the first six weeks following birth. You will gain the skills to work autonomously and take full responsibility for the wellbeing of mothers and babies.
The course uses a blended delivery model. Theory is taught via intensive block courses in Hamilton, while practical experience is gained through clinical placements in regional hubs. Upon completion, graduates must pass the National Midwifery Examination to become a Registered Midwife.
