The Master of Professional Accounting (MProfAcctg) is a practice-focused coursework programme designed to give graduates the core skills and knowledge across accounting, finance, commercial law, and taxation. It serves as a conversion degree-welcoming graduates from both business and non-business disciplines who want to build a career in professional accountancy without having completed an undergraduate accounting major.

Note: The MProfAcctg is formally recognized by major international accounting bodies, including Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), CPA Australia, ACCA, and CIMA.

Entry Requirements

• Academic Minimums: A completed bachelors degree (in business or a non-business field such as humanities, engineering, technology, or science) from a recognized university with a minimum GPA/GPE of 5.0 (B average) in the most advanced upper-level courses.
• Pre-experience Nature: Does not require prior work experience for admission.
• Course Substitution: Applicants who have already completed undergraduate courses substantially similar to core MProfAcctg papers will be assigned substitute courses on a case-by-case basis.
• Selection Process: Admission is verified individually by evaluating academic performance, background relevance, and institution rankings.
• Language Requirement: Academic IELTS score of 6.5 overall (all sub-bands 6.0+) or equivalent (e.g., TOEFL iBT 90 with minimum 21 writing).
