Programme Overview

The Master of Teaching Early Childhood Education (Level 9) at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology is an Initial Teacher Education (ITE) qualification approved by the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. Spanning 18 months, the program allows graduates from any academic background to transition into early childhood teaching, blending high-level academic theory with over 14 weeks of practical placement in licensed ECE centers.

Note: Graduates are eligible to apply for Provisional Teacher Registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
