Programme Overview
The Master of Construction (Quantity Surveying) at Massey is one of New Zealand's first management qualifications specifically focused on the construction sector. It is designed to develop senior-level expertise in financial and commercial management for large-scale, complex building and infrastructure projects.
The program emphasizes research-led learning, taught by academics and industry professionals with extensive networks. Students learn to handle the complete financial lifecycle of an asset from feasibility and initial cost advice to tendering, contract administration, and eventual remodeling or maintenance.
What You'll Study
The degree offers two distinct paths: the Coursework Pathway (professional practice focus) and the Thesis Pathway (advanced research focus).
