The curriculum focuses on providing person-centered care and addressing health inequities, particularly for Māori and Pacific communities.
Students utilize the state-of-the-art simulation suites at the Hamilton campus to practice skills in a safe environment before entering clinical placements. These placements occur in diverse settings, including hospitals, primary health care clinics, and mental health facilities.
